When obtaining a pregnancy log book, several compulsory examinations should be provided: Blood group determination including Rh factor, antibody testing, exclusion of syphilis, verification of adequate vaccination against measles, determination of Haemoglobin level of the mother, gynecological examination (vaginal microbiology, smear from the cervix, and sonography of the small pelvis)
